Gemini — The Festival of Humanity

This is the third major full moon and is also known as the World Invocation Day. The Gemini full moon is used as a distributing point for the energies accumulated in the previous major full moons.

Aries channels will-to-love energy at the time of the full moon; the Wesak Festival (Taurus) is related to the will-to-good; Gemini, the Festival of Christ, is related to the energy of Divine Intelligence.  These three rays form a Cosmic triangle, which is called the Triangle of the Cosmic Christ. (The Externalisation of the Hierarchy, Bailey, Alice A., Lucis Trust, p. 422).

Because the energy released at the time of the Gemini full moon is a combination of energies from Aries, Taurus and Gemini, this is the only time that humanity can contact so many energies.

This is why the Gemini full moon is called the Festival of Humanity. Goodwill was the keynote at the birth of Christ; it is His plan and purpose to establish peace and brotherhood on the planet.

Keynote: I recognize my other self and in the waning of that self I grow and glow.

Gemini represents the pair of opposites. It reveals instability in the physical, emotional and mental life of the average person. Until he reaches a higher viewpoint, he will continue to be uncomfortable in his own skin until he does the necessary work and clearing out.

The energy of Gemini allows the striving individual (or disciple) to see the limitations of his other self or the elements with which his Higher Self is identified.

When we can discriminate between our higher and lower self, we are making progress.

Many people do not know that a lower self even exists. Once we recognize that we are more than just our personality, possessions or position, we can control and transform our nature.

The light of this constellation is called the ‘Light of interplay,’ the Light of conscious relationship between Spirit and matter, between the spiritual Self and the personality.” (Symphony of the Zodiac, Saraydarian, Torkom. Aquarian Educational Group, 1980, p. 343.)

The Festival of Humanity is a festival in which the Divinity in man will be recognized. It is a time when we can cultivate right human relations in society and stability within ourselves.
