We watched Stevie Wonder perform last night on PBS’ Great Performances. It was a transcendent experience. When the thousands of fans began singing My Cheri Amour, without prompting, I understood the power of song to heal, uplift and transform.
Stevie always ends his performance with a message of love. A man without physical sight “sees” through the illusion of separation. People of all ages, creeds and colors, respond to him. Why?
There is only one answer: heart.
