Spiritual Will & Karma

Fear of creating new karma by avoiding action and shirking responsibility only increases your karmic debt. Karma is the Law of Cause and Effect, a law which cannot be circumvented. The goal is to surpass our personal, small-minded karma by developing our spiritual will.

Spiritual karma is when we accept family, group or planetary karma to fulfill a greater responsibility which will bring great achievements.

When Christ accepted the karma of humanity, it is not that He “died for our sins,” but rather gave us a pathway to perfection by emphasizing spirit over matter. If the sacrifice of Christ, or any Great Teacher, kindles a fiery heart and a will toward good, then we can say He did not die in vain.

By your own hands and feet,” Buddha said. Only by our personal efforts can we ascend into Higher Worlds, where even greater responsibilities await.

When a great Spirit accepts a spiritual mission voluntarily, He serves as a touchstone for the consciousness of all people.

When we accept, understand and align with the spiritual motive of the Teacher, our spiritual evolution will increase a hundredfold. This is why we should never run from difficult karma, but instead work on our own development and accumulate spiritual treasures.

In fact, difficult karma is a signpost that you are reaching beyond the physical and material and entering the Spiritual Triad where all your past good deeds are deposited.

The jewels deposited there will protect and guide you when all seems lost.

As Above, So Below

Karma is action. Each action directed by a disciplined, spiritual will, that is in accord with Cosmic laws, affirms harmony and creates equilibrium.

The so-called “punishment or reward” associated with karma is but a reflection of the corresponding harmony or disharmony within the body of man. Man (microcosm) is the reflection of the Cosmos (macrocosm) which is held together by the action and harmony of atoms. Man is then drawn to an environment because of an affinity to the corresponding atoms.

Hence the concept, “good karma, bad karma.” However, it is said that karma cannot overburden a harmonious body. In truth, there is no “good or bad” but merely striving toward perfection.

This gives new meaning to the phrase, “Be perfect as your Father in heaven is perfect.” Cosmic evolution is dependent upon it.
