2009 Aries Full Moon

With Easter upon us, I wanted to reflect on the spirit of resurrection which coincides with the Aries full moon.

Often associated with Easter in the Western Hemisphere and the “risen” Christ, the Festival of Resurrection refers to both the conquering of death of Master Jesus on the physical plane and the Seventh Initiation Christ was entering on the Cosmic Physical Plane. (Bailey, Alice A., The Reappearance of the Christ, p. 23).

Aries Keynote

I come forth and from the plane of mind I rule.

Rulership in Aries represents mastery over the lower mind and the form. One’s duties and responsibilities are carried out through the light of the Soul and the spiritual will to initiate in your given field of service.

The Festival of Resurrection offers you upliftment from the lower mind, or the mundane, to higher consciousness. If you absorb the idea of the higher keynote, you will fuse your life with it and become a servant of Light.

The Fiery Energy of Aries

agni_god_of_fire1The energy of Aries is fiery. It charges and stimulates the Sparks in every form, causing them to advance and progress. Resurrection is progressive advancement of the Spark. Resurrection is striving and labor. Striving is the effort of the Spirit to conquer matter, to conquer the body and emotions, and to conquer Space and time.

Labor is the process of manifestation of your achievement that was reached through striving. Through labor you open your inner resources, radiate beauty in daily communications and relationships …
“When labor and striving unite, there is resurrection. …” (Saraydarian, Torkom, Symphony of the Zodiac, Aquarian Educational Group, 1980, p. 40.)

We are told that no one reached this great Initiation as swiftly as Christ. It has no parallel in the history of humanity.

Full Moon Visualization

easter-fire-netherlandsThe energy of Aries is called the burning ground where degenerative, non-progressive and stagnant thoughts must be burned. As individuals, this time offers great opportunity to purify and “burn off” our limitations.

In the Aries full moon meditation, it is safer to use symbols which represent spiritual ideas rather than anything specific. We do not want to impose our thoughts or ideas on to the world, but want to be pure transmitters of this fire.

  1. We approach this visualization in the name of Christ.
  2. We visualize ourselves as a beam of light radiating beauty and illumination around the globe and penetrating mankind.
  3. With the spreading of the flame of life, this thoughtform can be used by higher forces as a conduit which distributes the fire of Aries. These higher forces can then initiate a new cycle of progressing and advancing thought, burning away hindrances and paving the way for future progress in all fields.
  4. When the Mantram of Unification is repeated, do not forget to visualize all humanity saying it together.

Mantram of Unification

The sons of men are one,
and I am one with them.
I seek to love, not hate;
I seek to serve and not exact due service;
I seek to heal, not hurt.

Let pain bring due reward of light and love.
Let the soul control the outer form,
and life and all events
and bring to light the Love
that underlies the happenings of the time.

Let vision come and insight.
Let the future stand revealed.
Let inner union demonstrate

and outer cleavages be gone.
Let love prevail.
Let all men love.

During the Aries full moon, we are reminded to begin a new life, to recreate ourselves and to make a new breakthrough into the mysteries of creation and purpose of life.
