Quantum physicists and metaphysicians recognize that energy permeates the Universe and NASA scientists have recorded the sounds of Cosmos, which is energy, essentially.
Few but the most dedicated esoteric student know about the seven rays that permeate our solar system and beyond.
Five volumes have been written under the overall title of A Treatise on the Seven Rays, based on the quality and the interrelationship of the seven streams of energy pervading our Universe, our planet and all that lives and moves within its orbit.
These rays of energy (or notes) produce an effect in matter and set in motion those forces which work to solve the question of man’s eternal destiny.
According to the Tibetan,
These seven rays (or soul energies) incarnate as groups of souls expressing the quality of their ray group and the energy of one of the three essential groups (Rays I, II & III) to which their soul ray is related.
In studying and learning about the Soul or Self
- We will understand the inner side of human history, gaining an idea of the qualities emerging from the three aspects (Rays I, II & III) and determining the forms of expression on the physical plane;
- We will have a practical method of analyzing ourselves as “ensouling” entities and a wiser understanding and comprehension of our fellowman.
For example, if you recognize in yourself the tendency of your soul ray is that of will or power (First Ray), but the ray governing your personality is that of devotion (Sixth Ray), you can more truly gauge your capacities and limitations; you can more realistically determine your vocation and service, your true value and strength.
Not only will you be better able to deal more intelligently with your own set of problems, but also with your children, your friends and your coworkers.
You will be able to cooperate more wisely and willingly with the Plan as it seeks its expression at this particular time.
The study of the Seven Rays demands intelligence and clear thinking so that our path becomes one of selflessness, leading to group awareness.
Those strong souls who consciously and knowingly enter into the realm of spiritual force and take thence that which they need and that which they choose, must work with intelligence, so that there may be a subsequent wise distribution of force within a chosen area. ~ The Tibetan

“The seven rays are the first differentiation of the divine triplicity of Spirit-Consciousness-Form, and they provide the entire field of expression for the manifested Deity” (Ibid., p 17).
…
“We are lives, making an appearance, expressing quality and slowly becoming aware of the process and objective, as our consciousness becomes more like that of Divinity Itself. (Ibid., p. 22).
The two volumes on esoteric psychology delve extensively into the psychological make-up of a human being as the life, quality and appearance of an incarnating, evolving spiritual entity.
