World Invocation Day



In 1945, the Tibetan Mas­ter, Djwhal Khul, gave to human­ity a “World Invo­ca­tion” to be used by peo­ple from all walks of life, in all reli­gions and in all cultures.

The beauty and strength of this Invo­ca­tion lies in its sim­plic­ity and in its expres­sion of cer­tain cen­tral truths:

  1. A basic Intel­li­gence to Whom we vaguely give the name of God exists;
  2. The moti­vat­ing power of the uni­verse is Love;
  3. A great Indi­vid­u­al­ity, the Christ, the embod­i­ment of Love, came to Earth so that human­ity could under­stand this all-pervading truth;
  4. That love and intel­li­gence are effects of the Will of God;
  5. That only through Human­ity can the divine Plan work out.

The Great Invocation*

From the point of Light within the Mind of God
Let light stream forth into the minds of men.
Let Light descend on Earth.

From the point of Love within the Heart of God
Let love stream forth into the hearts of men.
May Christ return to Earth.

From the cen­tre where the Will of God is known
Let pur­pose guide the lit­tle wills of men –
The pur­pose which the Mas­ters know and serve.

From the cen­tre which we call the race of men
Let the Plan of Love and Light work out
And may it seal the door where evil dwells.

Let Light and Love and Power restore the Plan on Earth.

Using this Invo­ca­tion will cause pow­er­ful changes in one’s atti­tude, char­ac­ter and life inten­tions. Your illu­mi­nated mind will slowly trans­mute the mist of illu­sion and the heavy coat of igno­rance, and you will become an active par­tic­i­pant in the laws of righteousness.

Your spir­i­tual aspi­ra­tion and sin­cer­ity, when using this invo­ca­tion, will pave the way to peace on Earth and good­will toward all.

As you study the Invo­ca­tion you will notice that the three major cen­ters in our planet are linked: Sham­balla, “where the Will of God is known,” the Hier­ar­chy, where the Christ, the Head of the Hier­ar­chy, over­sees closer con­tact with human­ity, and the “cen­ter” which we call Humanity.

It is only Human­ity, through its expres­sion of good­will, that the divine Plan will be restored and, through the upsurge in Christ con­scious­ness, that the reap­pear­ance of  the Christ will occur. In real­ity, Christ never left the Earth.

“Lo, I am with you always, even until the end of the days.”

Sec­ondly, “dis­ci­ples every­where will find them­selves increas­ingly sen­si­tive to His qual­ity, His voice and His teach­ing; they will be “over­shad­owed” by Him in many cases, just as before, He over­shad­owed His dis­ci­ple Jesus; through this over­shad­ow­ing of dis­ci­ples in all lands, He will dupli­cate Him­self repeat­edly. The Great Invo­ca­tion relates the will of the Father (or of Sham­balla), the love of the Hier­ar­chy and the ser­vice of Human­ity into one great tri­an­gle of energies.

The Great Invo­ca­tion was sent forth at the full moon of Gem­ini. Gem­ini reveals dual­ity. The tri­an­gle of ener­gies stand between two great forces — the pil­lars rep­re­sent­ing divine vs. human  and spir­i­tual vs. mate­r­ial interests.

The use of the Great Invo­ca­tion over the past 63+ years changed the pat­tern of the etheric web that sur­rounds the planet from squares to tri­an­gles and has paved the way for the reap­pear­ance of the Christ.

The World Wide Web is proof pos­i­tive that the invoca­tive appeal of human­ity has been heard.

We are told that when squares become tri­an­gles, we will see the dawn of a new age.

“The word ‘man’ comes from San­skrit and means ‘one who thinks’, but in the mod­ern mind this word is viewed as sex­ist and exclu­sive. ‘Christ’, unfor­tu­nately, too often is viewed as the sole province of Chris­tian­ity and not rel­e­vant to peo­ple of other reli­gions or of no par­tic­u­lar religion.”
